Medical image storage requires special demands on functionality, management, security, speed and connectivity.
We developed our Clinical Assistant software specifically for use in hospitals as a central system for archiving and reporting (optional) of images. Images can be linked to a patient file with minimal effort, or integrated into the file. Patient information is obtained directly from the Hospital Information System. In this way duplication is being avoided and the integrity of data is guaranteed. The images are available everywhere in the hospital to authorized users for presentations, patient reviews and reference.
Clinical Assistant meets worldstandards such as HL7 and DICOM. Besides, Clinical Assistant complies with several IHE profiles. All IHE profiles which are implemented by a vendor within existing software or as a new product, should be presented at a so-called Connectathon. Under the supervision of specialists test are being carried out to confirm the proper functioning of the software. If an application has been approved, this is published in an Integration Statement.
