Full installation
This is the full installation of Research Assistant 6. It is approximately 35 Mb. This is identical to the installation as supplied on CD-ROM. First store this file (setupNL.exe or setupEN.exe, depending on the language version chosen) on your hard disk, then start installation by double-clicking in Windows Explorer on the file. Resarch Assistant Update
An existing Research Assistant 6 installation can be updated in two ways. The easiest way to update your program is to work from Research Assistant, via the 'Options' menu, 'Check for program updates'. If you are connected to the Internet, you can update you programme with one click on the button.
If you have no access to an Internet connection, you can download the update (approximately 20 Mb) from another computer and copy it to the Research Assistant computer. You must extract this file in a temporary file (RA6Update.zip) using an Unzip-program (www.winzip.com), Double-click on the extracted file (ra6update.exe) to upgrade the existing installation.
